Letters To Santa


Mark the calendar, Santa will be making a special visit to the Wonderland of Lights on December 6th from 4:30-6:30pm and December 23rd from 5:30 - 8:30 pm! As always, look for Santa’s Mailbox... Drop off your letters to Santa and receive a personalized letter in return. Don’t forget to leave Santa your name and address, he gets a lot of letters this time of year and wants to make sure everyone gets a letter back!



Hours of Operation

Dates: Open November 26th – January 1, 2015 (Closed: December 24th) *Wonderland of Lights will be open on Christmas Day. Start a new tradition by bringing the family to enjoy the light show on Christmas night. Hours: 5:30pm – 8:30pm


How to sponsor a light?

Each year, the light show attracts more than 30,000 delighted children and adults and raises tens of thousands of dollars to support RCIL’s programs and services. Contact RCIL for more information.

How can I volunteer?

This event couldn’t take place without our dedicated volunteers — and we’re always looking for more! You can help with the setup of our small light displays or spend an evening greeting happy show attendees. Please contact Diana at RCIL to learn how you can become involved.

Letters to Santa?

Kids! Bring your letters for Santa to the Wonderland of Lights, and drop it in the special Santa mailbox during the light show. Santa will send a personalized letter back!

Price Of Admission

Regular price admission, charged at the gatehouse entrance of the Light Show, consists of: $8 Per Car | $15 for 15 passenger vehicles | $25 for Limousines | $50 for Buses

Tickets Purchase Locations?

$7 advance sale tickets are available at RCIL (409 Columbia Street in Utica) and all Price Chopper locations $5 advance sale tickets will be available for one day only at RCIL’s booth at Christmas on Main Street, Nov. 22nd from 11am-5pm, held at the Utica Train Station Coupons for $1.00 off Admission are available at McDonalds and Adirondack Bank locations. (Limit of one coupon per car per visit)

At the Masonic Care Community, Acacia Village Entrance, Welsh Bush Road Directions: From I-90 (NYS Thruway) = Take Exit 31 for Utica. Follow the signs for Genesee St S., look for the John St sign, to Broad St E., to NY-5S East. Exit at Culver Ave, merge onto Dwyer Ave, turn right onto Culver Ave Turn left onto Welsh Bush Rd. Look for the arrows and signs reading WONDERLAND OF LIGHTS.
